Home Crew. This week's activity will open your eyes to the eating
habits of squirrels. It's simple. Just check out the info below

Squirrels
to watch
Find
a place near your house or in a nearby park where there are lots of squirrels.
Pick
a spot where several squirrels are eating together. Under a tree is a good
choice, but don't sit too close, or you will scare them away! Watch their
eating habits for 15 to 20 minutes, and take notes.
Write
down all of your observations. Did they divide themselves equally around
the food supply? Do they only eat the food that is right around them? Do
they rearrange themselves if one squirrel leaves? Do the squirrels who
leave signal the other squirrels that they are going? If a new squirrel
arrives, do the others make space for her to join them?
